How we select images

Every image is checked for clarity, lighting and whether it actually shows what the page claims. Images that are blurry, watermarked, heavily cropped or off-topic are rejected. A person reviews and approves each one before it appears on the site.

Sourcing and rights

We publish only images we have the right to publish. That means:

• images we created or photographed ourselves;
• images from accounts we operate;
• stock images under a licence that permits commercial use, with credit where required;
• images generated with AI tools;
• images contributed by registered members who confirm they own them.

We do not scrape or republish artists' portfolio work without permission. Every image in our system records its source and licence before it can be published. If you believe an image here is yours and should not be, tell us and we will remove it — you do not need to send a legal notice first.

How our written content is produced

We use AI assistance to draft the descriptions, FAQs and guidance on collection pages. We are explicit about this because hiding it would be the problem, not the practice. What matters is what happens around the drafting:

• Every page is reviewed and approved by a person before it is published.
• Figures shown on a page — image counts, colour and style breakdowns, typical price and time ranges — are computed from the images actually in that collection, not invented by a model.
• Drafts are checked against existing pages and rejected if they repeat them.
• Pages are re-reviewed periodically, and we do not change a "last updated" date unless something on the page actually changed.

Prices, timings and difficulty

Ranges are estimates drawn from the ideas in each collection. They vary by region, materials, and who does the work. Use them to plan a conversation, not as a quote. Anything touching health or safety should go to a qualified professional.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, let us know. We correct errors on the page itself rather than quietly deleting them.
